I have an interesting issue with my turn signals on my '96-'99 fatboy. The right turn signals (front and rear) only works when the "Engine Stop" switch is on. The running light element works as expected but the flasher doesn't function unless the switch is on. If I change the position of the switch while its flashing it won't turn off.
Anybody have some insight that can help my find this issue?
Operationally it doen's really matter since I really only need turn signals when the engine is on but this is the kind of thing that keeps me up at night.
Usually the waves out issues with turn signals leads directly to the TSM itself. I picked one up on eBay from a 2000 Sportster for my 98 Fatboy.. $50...
Does the starter work with the" engine stop " switch off? If it does the black/white and orange/white power wires going to the handlebar controls are reversed...

Once the signals start they are on until the turn signal module turns them off
