RE: lowering an electra glide
Before I went with adjustable air shocks I used a lowering bracket kit from TRW that I got on ebay. I liked it a lot and it lowered the bike about an inch at the seat. Handled great and felt great too. Here's a photo of the kit:

RE: lowering an electra glide
Help me out here... what exactly does lowering an Ultra 1/2"accomplish?
I've been doing alot of rodeo drills and just can't seem to get those front foot boards to scrape.
Other than hearing that magical sound... is there anything else to be gained by a 1/2"?
PLEASE... no wives or girlfriends need to reply.
