What are some of the major issues with lowering a 2003 Electra Glide Standard?

 

My '06 ultra is lowered in the rear end. No problems and made a bid diff. I have heard if you lower the front end you stand a chance of bottoming out due to the weight of the fairing. I have had two freinds confirm this on their bikes. Nothing major but it does happen depending on the rider load.

 

Depends on how low you want to go.....most go to 12" shocks in rear with out any problems, beyond that you risk tire rubbing fender.
