I have a 2000 dyna lowrider, and I went to a 150 with no trouble,but I have the smaller belt. My friend has a 1999 lowrider with a much wider belt and he will keep 130. because it want fit.
I had a 150 on the back or my wifes Y2K FXDL, had some rubbing problems with the turn signal mounts (it had the detacheble sideplates and related hardware...)</P>
I put a 140 mezler on it and have no problems.</P>
Well eventually we all sell our bikes at some point.
I don't.
I tend to hang on to my 'older bikes' and just put them in storage (semi-retirement mode) when I don't ride one all that often.
In fact I own 7 of them right now..
When it comes to making modifications to any of my bikes considering if it mighyt have a negative impact to the "resale value" is the last thing I would worry about.
