Default Wiring Problems on EVO custom

Has any one wired up the coils on a custom evo setup. Anyone that did could be of some help andwould be appreciated. It has a EVO engine with three wires coming out of the bottom right side of the engine. I am wiring up 2 Donnie Smith type coils in the v pattern on the left side of the engine. My wire harness is a Ultima Wire harness. The wire harness has the positive coil connection. Now my question I also have a factory computer box for the EVO engine with about 9 wires on it. Do I need to hook it up and go with the pink to the coil - and use the computer box positive or do i just wire one of the wires coming out of the engine directly to the - terminal of the coil. and let the ultima box do everything thanks this really has me stumped

Do you not have a wiring diagram? Many years of Evo motors, and many different diagrams.

Pink does come off the coil the terminal opposite the hot side or the white wire side Is this 9 wire box a stock harley ign mode? does it have a 7 or8 prong plug on the end? Do you want to single firenthe coils or std dual fire?

Sorry to take so long to get back with you but the way i work i get on the wiring very little.

I have a wiring diagram but i am wiring an untima wire harness to stock harley module to a set of dyna coils twi single tower ones and i can't seem to find a diagram that shows these three parts.

the module is a stock harley with a 8 prong plug with one of the prongs capped of so only 7 wires exit the connector.

here's what i have done so far white with black stripe from ultima harness {12 volts ignition} to the + side of both of the coils
pink from module to - side of the coils
white with black stripe from module to the + side of the coil
the rest of the wires hooked from module to either timing module or the voes switch per factory colors.

I get spark with the plugs out of the bike laying on the engine. not blue spark but almost more of a yellow spark put the plugs back in the engine and prime with it a little starting fluidnot even a bang.

any ideas. thanks again rwwintx
