removing clutchcover

removing clutchcover
So all the bolts of the cluthc cover of my 89 sportster are loose and out
I removed the 2 round covers
So why doesnt the cover (the big one on the left side) come of???
i can get it about 1cm of the engine and than i'm stuck , it wont go further
any tips?

littlemarc, HOLD YOUR HORSES DUDE!!!
The reason (I'll assume) the clutch cover isn't comming off is because there is gears attached (so to speak) on the inside. If you've not been in there, take the time to familurize yourself with the set-up. Get yourself a manual if you've not already.
A tip... tilt your bike to the right (so everything doesn't fall out) and tap the side cover, being careful that what is inside stays inside.
