Fatboy Rims

I just bought a 94 Fatboy, and the previous owner neglected the rims terribly. I would just buy new ones, but these have the fatboy emblem laser cut around the rim, so I'd like to salvage them. The restoration process is taking me especially long around the rivets that line the perimeter of the rims. Can those be removed?

RE: Fatboy Rims

It looks like the p.o. had access to a machine shop, those may be press fit plugs, might be jbwelded in place. Best thing to do would be to contact the p.o. and see if he thinks they can be removed or not. I don't understand why someone would spend that kind on money on machine work and then just let it corrode.

RE: Fatboy Rims

Turns out they were 8mm 12 point chrome bolts. 30 on each side of the front and back rims. I've been riding without them while I clean them up. The PO bought the bike with those rims, and he let em go to sht. Thanks for the reply.
