Default Rear brake light

1991 softtail rear brake light not working. Are there any other parts (relays, modules etc.) that the rear is hooked up to. The switch is OK. Any ideas. Thanks

Default RE: Rear brake light

Hey rsinagogo,

Check to see if there is voltage at socket, then wires to socket, and keep moving back along the wiring to see where the voltage is getting stoped with a voltmeter. You said the switch is ok, but are the switches getting power.

Hope this helped, A service manual will help you trace wires to everywhere they go.
