1991 softtail rear brake light not working. Are there any other parts (relays, modules etc.) that the rear is hooked up to. The switch is OK. Any ideas. Thanks
Check to see if there is voltage at socket, then wires to socket,and keep moving back along the wiring to see where the voltage is getting stoped with a voltmeter. You said the switch is ok, but are the switches getting power.

on my 2021 sportster I had an issue with the back brake light not working and it was the wires from the back brake light switch that run in front of the back wheel were brittle and broke. I soldered them and they broke in another spot ...the whole kit cost about 85 bucks but since under warranty took it to the dealer and they changed out the wires going from the switch to the prong connector rather than doing the kit which is fine...its working and all is good.
