I'm about to have probably the only 2003/2008 Anniversary bike around. Or is it the only 100th/105th anniversary bike?
My 2003 is vivid black,front to back.I bought the back end of a 2008 that got triked. So today I started the change over.Took everything off,then put the back fender on while I had the rear tire getting replaced.Made it much easier. I'm also getting rid of the saddlebag chrome guards and put back on the other type (don't know what they're called) that shows the entire hardbag, nothing around it,no rails at all.I'm dropping my quick release tour pac mount and bought one of George Anderson relocation kits to move the tour back 2 1/2". The rear fender hardbags and tour pac from the 2008 are of course copper and vivid black.To tie it all together I'm going to have some of the copper paint added to the fairing and side covers,but I gotta find a painter and figure out what I want done.Long job.
