Question on 05 1200R fork swap.
Well I went to swap out forks on my 05 1200R today. I'm replacing them with 1200S Adjustables 
But I've run into a Slight Snag. While pulling the axle from the front hub the Thick inner spacer that sits between the wheel assembly and the Left fork fell out. [
]No big deal Except upon picking it up I noticed one side has 3 notches going around the edge while the other side is smooth.
Since it Fell out I dont know which side the 3 notch side should go against, the wheel or the fork [:@]. The notches almost look like their there to lock the spacer and keep it from turning But both the wheel side and fork side are smooth with no corrasponding notches to mate to the ones in the spacer.
Please help, I'm right in the middle of the swap. Anybody know Which side the 3 notch side of the spacer goes against. The service manual doesnt say a word about it. Thanks..
