2014 Street Glide Bagger Has Real Celebrity Appeal
Legendary Danny D’s custom leafing & pinstriping make this bagger a star.
Since 1987, the legendary Danny D has been laying down some of the finest pinstriping, leafing, and custom paint of anybody. That quality is evident on all of his works, including this gorgeous 2014 FLHX Street Glide bagger. We spotted the sweet ride over on the Hemmings site, where it was recently up for sale with a price tag of $60k.
And that custom paintwork is undoubtedly the first thing you’ll notice about this low slung cruiser. Danny D did all the pinstriping and silver leafing, which both highlights the lines of the bike and makes it truly stand out. Those lines have been further accentuated by a Ballistic custom body kit and a massive 30-inch one-off custom front wheel.
The Street Glide bagger also sports the requisite low slung stance courtesy of an air ride setup. Other goodies include Crushed tube bars, a Roaring Toyz raked headlight bezel, and loads of LED lighting. Pacific Stereo provided the tunes in the form of four saddle mounted 6×9’s, Focal components and tweeters, and an Alpine PDX F-6 amp. This showpiece also received a bit of extra “go” thanks to a Freedom exhaust and custom tune.
The end result is one of the coolest cruisers around. And unlike most run-of-the-mill baggers, this one has the markings of a real star. Literally.
