Trump Talks Harley, Generates Thunderous Applause

One of many reasons why we are confident that Harley-Davidson will always remain the most successful brand of motorcycles is this news report out of the White House. On Wednesday, during a congressional speech, President Donald Trump proudly — and randomly — name-dropped our favorite bike brand. And the mere mention of the Milwaukee company generated big applause from the room of lawmakers.

“I just met with officials and workers from a great American company, Harley-Davidson. In fact, they proudly displayed five of their magnificent motorcycles, made in the U.S.A., on the front lawn of the White House,” announced the President during his speech, pausing for the applause. “And they wanted me to ride one, and I said, no, thank you,” he added with a laugh.

He may not be tough enough to get on a Harley, but the prez certainly knows his motorcycles and the power they hold.

Three Amigos’ Mexican Harley Adventure is Hotter than the Baja Sun

Think about this plot for a movie: Three German tourists decide to pick up and venture to Mexico, where they Electra Glide their way across the desert on some fierce Harleys. Along the way they chronicle three bucket list-crushing days of exciting adventures. Sounds interesting, right? Well, achtung! That fun, fascinating story has already been realized in the must-read travelog, “Escape to Baja.” The tale of tres Germans spending tres days cruising scenic open roadways are as compelling as the bike reviews that are meshed into the sunburnt biker adventure from Car and Driver.
