‘American Pickers’ TV Hosts Hit the Harley Jackpot!
The cast of the History Channel hit TV show, ‘American Pickers’, were recently in Monroeville, Ohio visiting Roeder Racing & Service, an Ohio Harley institution.
Hosts, Mike Wolfe and Frank Fritz make a living operating their antique picking business, but also make it an adventure through their TV show, which has aired for multiple seasons now. Wolfe and Fritz were first contacted by Roeder daughter, Taaron, whom teased the barn-find fanatics with the photo of a 1946 Harley Knucklehead motorcycle.
Although the vintage Harley Knucklehead isn’t for sale, the ‘American Pickers’ stars decided to pay a visit anyway and shop for other unique items, including a $300 vintage Harley shirt, and a 1913 gas tank previously owned by the Roeder patriarch.
Both, Wolfe and Fritz were so static about their visit the Ohio Harley institution, they even visited George Roeder’s mom, Jessie, at the historic family home nearby. It’s such down to earth attitude and acts of kindness that brings back TV viewers every season, and keeps featured business owners happy.
They may have not taken the big one this time, but there’s something waiting at the next barn!
