Harley-Davidson LED Saddlebag Lights Add Style and Visibility
These new Harley-Davidson LED saddlebag lights from Custom Dynamics are affordable, easy to install, and add both style and visibility to a bike.
These days, there are a plethora of parts for Harley-Davidson motorcycles that aim to help improve visibility, which is an important thing for folks tooling around on two-wheelers. After all, perhaps the biggest cause of car-on-motorcycle accidents stems from the fact that the person driving the automobile doesn’t see the person on the bike, making these sorts of upgrades a literal life saver in some cases. One particularly stylish way to improve the visibility of a Harley-Davidson motorcycle comes to us in the form of these LED saddlebag lights, too.
These LED saddlebag lights come from a company called Custom Dynamics, which makes and sells all kinds of motorcycle parts and accessories – many of which are designed for Harley-Davidson models, of course. In this video from that same company, we see just how easy it is to install the low-profile lights as well, which can be had with red or amber turn signals, as well as smoked lenses if one prefers that look over the basic and traditional red.
Custom Dynamics’ LED saddlebag lights are designed to fit a variety of Harley-Davidson models including the 2023-2025 CVO Street Glide (FLHXSE), CVO Road Glide (FLTRXSE), 2025 Street Glide Ultra (FLHXU), 2024-2025 Street Glide (FLHX), Road Glide (FLTRX), and CVO Road Glide ST (FLTRXSTSE). They fit neatly in a single row just below the saddlebag lid on the rear-facing side of the OEM saddlebags of those bikes, providing a more seamless OEM-like appearance.
Regardless of which color option one goes with, the LED saddlebag lights function as low-intensity running lights with high-intensity brake lights and integrated turn signals. Users can even customize how those lights function, too – the turn signal can flash one of a couple of selectable programs that include solid on/sequential on, where illumination flows outward from the center, sequential off, where all LEDs are on but turn off outward from the center.
Installing the Custom Dynamics LED saddlebag lights is an easy and straightforward task, too – the kit comes with extended wire leads that plug into a provided under-seat wiring harness, and they feature built-in quick disconnects that allow for easy saddlebag removal. Overall, these lights are a pretty nifty and stylish way to make it easier to see one’s bike when they’re out tooling around town, and the price tag of $199.95 for the pair seems pretty darn reasonable, too.
