Harleys Rigged for Winter

It’s amazing the amount of ingenuity that the first generation of motorcycle riders possessed.  Early riders often depended on their motorcycles for transportation all year long and didn’t have the luxury of driving a car when the weather got bad.  In order to make it through the winter, they modified their Harley-Davidsons to conquer whatever Mother Nature threw at them.  Everything from studded tires and outrigger style skis to full on ice machines could be found powered by Harley’s mighty V-twin.

Just imagine stripping down your Ultra Classic each winter to turn it into a ice machine, only to reassemble it in the spring as a road bike.  I wonder if anyone on HDForums has converted their Harley for winter use.  If so, please share some photos of your custom machine!
