Killer Old-school Custom Harley Needs New Owner

Custom Harley "Chump Change"

If you like your Harley with loads of character and zero apologies, this big-engined, heavily patina’d bike is the one.

For many of us, Harley motorcycles are a way of life. A passion worthy of all our time, money, and sometimes, sanity. But riding a bike is also inherently dangerous, mostly due to other drivers, weather, and the many obstacles that Mother Nature throws at us. And sometimes, those problems just catch up to us, forcing us to give up the thing we love the most. Unfortunately, that appears to be the case with HD Forums member Gypsylady. And now she’s selling her killer custom bike right here in our Marketplace.

Thankfully, the OP is able to keep on riding despite losing an arm and getting hit multiple times, apparently. She just finds it a bit easier to cruise on her other Hardtail instead of this hardcore, old school bike. Thus, for the bargain price of $6k, somebody’s getting a shot at something very cool and very much unique.

Custom Harley "Chump Change"

Nicknamed “Chump Change,” this killer custom is what the OP describes as “not a beginner’s bike.” Probably because it packs lots of power in the form of a 107-inch Ultima mill. But the chain-driven Hardtail also sports a Paughco wishbone frame and DNA Springer front end. Like any good motorcycle, it’s also a little temperamental. The EFM Autoclutch won’t shift if the RPMs are too high. And the speedometer isn’t working, so there’s no telling how fast you’re going.

But those are just things that we like to call character. And Chump Change is loaded with that kind of stuff. Just a big ol’ motor strapped to a lightweight chassis, with plenty of patina to boot. Still, in a world ripe with comfy cruisers, this is a Harley that caters to a special, hardcore rider. But you can bet we’d be all over this bargain if we didn’t already have too many rides in our garage!
