MY RIDE! Several Outstanding Hogs in the Garage

HD MR 1

It isn’t terribly uncommon to see people who have owned Harley-Davidson motorcycles for life. Sometimes it’s generational, having had the rides introduced to them by a parent or other family member, and sometimes it comes about after one’s own personal discovery of the rides.

Either way, it’s good to say that once one is a hog fan, they tend to stay a hog fan. While we’re sure that the select few do move away from Harley-Davidson motorcycles to other rides, whether they be the within the world of four wheels or Japanese sports bikes, we’re glad to say that this is only the minority. And that’s definitely the way it’ll stay!

Today we’ll be stepping into the garage of HDForums MacTarnahan and taking a closer look at his one-of-a-kind hogs that lie within!

HD MR 2

MacTarnahan is the proud owner of two Harley-Davidson motorcycles, though they were not his first. In fact, he has owned a total of four hogs, and maybe even more! Like many motorcyclists out there, he enjoys taking his rides out for long road trips, and is sure to keep track of the routes he’s covered.

On his old 1995 Harley-Davidson Heritage Softail, MacTarnahan drove from Portland, Oregon to Anchorage, Alaska. On his now-gone, but certainly not forgotten, 2005 Heritage Softail, he drove from Portland, Oregon to Portland, Maine. He took the Tail of the Dragon on the return trip, which just seems fitting!

As for his current rides, MacTarnahan is the proud owner of 2014 Ultra Limited and a 2012 Street Bob. On his Ultra Limited he has traveled from Portland, Oregon to Black Hills, Albuquerque, Nashville, North Carolina, took the Tail of the Dragon once again, and then returned to Portland. We don’t have any details on where he has taken his Street Bob, but we do know that it has Vance & Hines Big Shots and a Screamin’ Eagle Stage I Breather.
