Second Annual OG Moto Show Rocks L.A. — Literally!

Harley-Davidson Knucklehead Cristian Sosa

The same shop also turned out this killer Knucklehead, in all bare metal to show off just how good his fabrication and welding is. Cristian Sosa, the builder, isn’t just about shaping metal to make it pretty. The engineering on this bike, seemingly just done to show that he could, is also incredible. The bike features a shaft driven throttle linkage, utilizing telescoping rods, bevel gears, bell cranks, and more; when others would have just hidden the cable in the bars.

Yamaha GT-S1000

Some bikes are inspired by history, looking like the rolled out of a time machine from the Art Deco Streamline Era. Then there were bikes like this custom 1993 Yamaha GTS1000, which is now 25 year old, but looks as if it just rode in from 25 years in the future. The only production bike to utilize the single sided, hub centered steered, RADD front end invented by James Parker, these big sport touring bikes already looked advanced. JSK Moto Co. stripped the generic 1990s Japanese sport bike plastic off of it and wrap it in a custom cyborg look, and it might as well be from a new sci-fi blockbuster.

Honda S90

Combine retro metal craft with sci-fi futurism and you end up with this little custom, based on a 90cc Honda from the early 1960s. Sure, this bike would struggle to hit 60 mph, but standing still it looks like it could have been cobbled together for racing on the Star Wars desert planet of Tatooine.
