Summer Guide: Harley Davidson Women’s Boots

By -

When it comes to motorcycle riding, boots are both a fashion
statement and a necessity. A good boot protects your foot from the
dangers that riding can present. Of course, you are not just a
motorcyclist, but a Harley rider. That means not just any boot will do
the job. Harley Davidson offers a line of boots that will deliver the
style you want and the protection you need.

Intellitemp

One of the newest boots and innovations coming from Harley Davidson
is a boot equipped with a system they call “Intellitemp.” According to
Harley Davidson, the Intellitemp lining is designed to regulate foot
temperature. They have one ladies boot with Intellitemp. It’s called a
“Vada” and is available in sizes ranging from 5 to 11. It features
locking zippers inside and out and has a rubber soil that’s designed to
resist oil. The Vada has a manufacturer’s suggested retail price of
$140.00.

Lace Boots

Harley has a two styles that feature an exclusively lace-up closure.
The Faded Glory is one of the lace-up boot styles. Available in wide
sizes from 5 to 10 and regular sizes from 5-11, the list price on the
Faded Glory is $120. The Tyler boots are the other lace-up boot from
Harley. They are available only in regular width sizes from 5-11.

Lace and Zipper Boots

There are a number of other Harley boots that appear to be lace
boots, but actually include both lace and zipper for proper closure and
fit. In fact, that description applies to six of Harley’s seventeen 2010
styles for women. Some of them have zippers that are visible, while
others include only interior zippers. The list price on the boots range
from about $95 to $130.

Pull On and Zipper Boots

Like the lace and zipper boots, Harley’s pull on boots generally
feature zippers inside for a better fit. There are a number of styles
available in that format. There are others that rely on outside zippers
for their closure. The price range for these boots (manufacturer’s
suggested retail price) is between $115 and $150.

None of Harley’s 2010 boots are available online. Of course, proper
fit is crucial for boots, and you can really only get that in the store.
Still, you can view all the styles on the Harley Davidson website.
Whether you choose the Vada for the Intellitemp lining or another
style, Harley Davidson boots will provide both protection and style.
There are plenty of options and each bring the Harley Davidson passion
along for the ride.
