1996 Harley Sportster Barrett-Jackson

Famed auction house has moved hundreds of Harleys over the years. Here’s a few of our favorites.

Famed Arizona auction house Barrett-Jackson has delivered the goods for years when it comes to the finest cars, trucks, and especially motorcycles. From restored vintage models and rare rides, to the wildest customs and beloved bikes from TV and film, Barrett-Jackson has moved them all from the auction block to the garages of its customer base.

We here at Harley-Davidson Forums have gone through a few listings to bring you five the craziest, sexiest, coolest custom Harleys ever to ride off into the sunset from the Barrett-Jackson auction block. And if you thought the first five were badass, wait until you get a load of this quintet of killer Harleys!

No. 1: 2012 Harley-Davidson Road Glide Motorcycle

2012 Harley Road Glide Barrett-Jackson
This turbocharged Road Glide is ready for the Caped Crusader himself, Batman, to bat-whip the insanity out of the Joker. Mr. Wayne can even use the big front tire to bat-slap some sense into the Riddler, while Catwoman can slide behind him on the custom LaPera Villain seat for a night around Gotham.

No. 2: 2015 Harley-Davidson DeWalt Motorcycle

2015 Harley De@alt Custom Barrett-Jackson

At first glance, this DeWalt-branded Road Glide appears to be pretty badass custom Harley (you can’t go wrong with black and yellow, either). However, this Harley was built to support the Wounded Warrior Project, a non-profit supporting U.S. military vets who’ve fought in conflicts around the world since September 11, 2001. Proceeds from the bike’s auction have gone on to benefit Wounded Warrior’s various programs and services.

No. 3: 1996 Harley-Davidson Sportster Custom Motorcycle

1996 Harley Sportster Barrett-Jackson

This 1996 Sportster Custom is ready to rule the wasteland with an iron fist. Whoever rides upon this steed will show no mercy to those who ride upon lesser bikes wearing “patina” wraps, especially once a big-ass bike chain is wrapped around the poser’s front fork. Even Barrett-Jackson acknowledges only a few will get the Sportster’s “four spark plugs and side shifter”; only mad men in the hardest leather war ensembles need apply.

2006 Kwang-Shin Soft Tail Custom Motorcycle

2006 Kwang-Shin Harley Barrett-Jackson

We don’t know anything about Kwang-Shin, and Google isn’t much help, either. What we do know is that this blue beauty has an 80 cu-in Harley engine mounted on the frame, and that’s good enough for us to consider taking this lovely custom out for a ride down the Vegas strip, setting souls on fire like Ghost Rider.

No. 5: 2009 Harley-Davidson Street Glide Custom Motorcycle

2009 Harley Street Glide Barrett-Jackson

This Harley Street Glide is blacker than the blackest black, times infinity. As soon as the green light glows, it disappears into the infinite expanse of black paint, only to exit somewhere in another universe. And if you’re not careful, you, too, may be pulled into the cruiser, never to escape the roar of the V-Twin as you stretch into space and time along the winding desert roads.
