What’s Up in the Forums: Member Makes Rockin’ Ride Video

Talented Hollywood-based HD Forums member delivers ‘Heavy Paper,’ an MTV-worthy ride video featuring his original track.

It’s no secret that there’s a wealth of good stuff over in the HD Forums. But while a large percentage of threads deal with things like folks seeking advice or showing off their latest Harley-Davidson build, there are many other cool and interesting things to be found as well, like this awesome music video that we stumbled across.

Even better, both the song and the ride video are original creations of forum member Patrik Jay. The Hollywood, California, resident isn’t just a musician, after all; he’s a big-time Harley enthusiast. So it only makes sense that Jay would take one of his songs and some footage from one of his rides through Southern California and create a music video out of the whole thing.

After all, what goes better with a Harley than some cool tunes? Throw in a little iconic Hollywood scenery, and you’ve got the makings of a video worth watching. The song itself is pretty cool, too, kind of like a David Bowie/Beatles/random Eighties Sunset Strip rock band mashup. Perfect for keeping you calm while sitting in slow L.A. traffic.

If you dig the song and want to check out more of Patrik Jay’s work, head on over to his YouTube channel or listen to his tunes on SoundCloud.
