Dyna Glide ModelsSuper Glide, Super Glide Sport, Super Glide Custom, Dyna Glide Convertible, Super Glide T-Sport, Dyna Glide Police, Dyna Switchback, Low Rider, Street Bob, Fat Bob and Wide Glide.
Had IPB, Rotor/Stator failure at 12k miles.
Before I took it to Cape Fear HD, I called HD customer service. Explained what was wrong with it, they gave me a reference number. Took it into the service guys, 4 hours later I was getting everything replaced free of charge. Props to Cape Fear.
Hey Sargent Peake or anyone else
I'm having the same problem with my '06 FXDI, just under 17,000mi. What angle should I use when talking to HD customer service? Should I just explain the problem, mention all the other 06's I've read about that have problems with the IPB and Stator, or mention the letter from HD stating the IPB needing to be replaced every 15,000mi?

Its not a stator issue its a rotor issue and only 06 used the two-piece, screwed together rotor.
