Tour Pack removed will it throw a code ?
Is it ok to run the bike with the Tour Pack disconnected ? Will it throw any codes ?
For winter storage it is much easier parking the bike and two cars in the garage if I remove saddlebags and TP. No risk of a car door hitting anything.
One of my first projects will be to install fuelmoto head pipe I have setting in the corner and that will require a couple of heat cycles for the ceramic coat.
Wondering if the bike throws any codes with the harness disconnected. I read a post where some one got a code after installing plazma rods ?

I did. I'm not real fond of them for the way they look, but they work great and add a ton of light to the back of the bike. I'm anxiously awaiting hd lights for between the saddle bags and fender. If they show enough light I'll remove the stick on bag lights. If not I'll leave them

Have you and the dealer tried putting the ignition switch in accessory mode and running the flashers for several minutes? If so and it doesn't work, weird indeed.

Yes we have tries both acc, running, not running, put flashers on, off, on. They did the download on bike which helped my radio[ different issue ]. But nothing is working. They tried to blame it on my front led bulbs I put in but I switched them out right in front of them and no difference. Oh well they blink normal on out side just on dash, I learned to live with it.

I've read about the fast blink with the detach kit and I've read about it with the led bulbs. I've also read that the flasher trick didn't always work the first time, people have had to do it several times before the bike "learns" the difference between tour pack blinkers and saddlebag blinkers. Yes, it is weird.
