Remove LED lights from saddlebags

Remove LED lights from saddlebags
Can these be removed after they have been on the saddle bags. I want to replace the bags and not have to buy the lights again.
Afraid of breaking them.
any suggestions would be grateful

I have removed them with success two times. I used a piece of woven fishing line and slowly worked it back and forth under the edge across the lights and it worked well. I did replace the body tape that they are mounted with though. You can pick it up at most automotive places that specialize in auto body products. I bought a roll of 3M Brand Acrylic Foam Tape which is used on auto's to attach moldings and etc. Just take your time and don't try and pry on the lens housings as they are plastic and could break if you try and pull them off.

My local body and paint guy took mine off a couple of months ago to repair some scratches (don’t ask). He told me he used a heat gun on the inside of the saddlebag and heated the tape and they came off pretty easy. We put them on with new tape.

I have learned that WD40 will soften the adhesive on the 3M tape, I had to repaint a bag last winter (after loosing it on the highway...), and found this on google.
If you can soak it for a little while before attempting the fishing line technique, it works well.
