This is exactly what I did. Looks fine.

 

Was thinking of doing same thing. How is the performance on the hidden antennas?

 

Don't know on the CB yet, but the J&M radio one is...OK. Not as good as the stock, but it's hidden and works fine with strong signal. Nice thing about the Infotainment is it mutes the radio instead of blasting static when signal gets too weak. There is a Harley one that's amplified too, but Harley doesn't have an internal CB option. In my case, I'd rather they be hidden with the decreased reception since I use my iPhone on the Boombox mostly.

 

Looks good - didn't think of taking them two apart to swap.

 

Sorry to resurrect an old thread, but I'm slightly confused on exactly the part numbers I need.
2016 FLHTK
I went to take off the long antennas and replace them with stubbys. However, the left side was rusted up a bit and stud snapped.
What I want to do is replace both sides with all new parts.
What are the exact part numbers I need for both sides please?
I have the parts listing but it's hard to make out the part pictures.

 

Be aware the two bases come apart differently... but here's the parts I see it would take to rebuild them, less the actual antennas themselves.

Left side AM/FM antenna stuff one each
