Ditto . . . best ever to date. My GF made a comment to one of our friends after I traded my '12 SG in Tequila Sunrise and HD orange in for my '14 Limited that summed it up. She said "He was in lust with that SG, but he's in LOVE with his new bike". You all know what I'm talkin' 'bout . . . .

Have over 10,000 miles on my Limited. I have done several long distance trips. Have had some issues; water pump on the road, recalls for the clutch and brake lines. I had an 07 Ultra before this one. This is a great bike. I am happy that I went with the Limited.

After I totalled my '07 Ultra in August, I was in the market for a new bike.
I had a Limited all picked out (Amber Whiskey/Vivid Black) but then we saw the Candy Orange Ultra.

That caused me to reevaluate the differences between the two. I decided that most of the creature features on the Limited (GPS, heated grips, chrome wheels, etc.) are things I just don't use, or like.

That leaves the liquid cooling, and slightly more powerful engine. I wanted it, but it just wasn't worth the price difference, so I bought the Ultra.

Sadly, I have yet to ride it. As a result of the crash, I had to have shoulder surgery. Now I'm just drooling on it in the garage. Hopefully by the end of November...

My Ultra Limited has been problem-free for over 13K now and is over a year old. No leaking anti-freeze, no clutch or brake problems and no infotainment issues at all. Personally, I wanted the extras it came with. It's such a subjective thing. A friend who was looking at them around the same time I was, chose the Ultra Classic because he usually keeps his bikes close to stock and he simply wasn't interested in the extras, spending any more on add-ons and also wanted to save a few thousand bucks out the door. If I had to do it all over again, I would choose the Ultra Limited every time. When it comes down to it, it's your money, your bike, and your preferences. You can't go wrong with either Ultra.

32,000 miles. 2 clutch recalls & 2 coolant recalls. I got it to ride and went coast to coast. Love it on long trips. Smother than my 11 Roadglide. Pleasure to ride. 68 years old, and lots of country yet to see. As long as my health is good enough I am going to do it again next year

10,000 miles on my Limited between May and September. Traded up from a 2012. Get the Limited. Worth every penny.

Can't tell you long term, only have had my '15 Limited for a couple months but it is night and day better than my '13 Limited. It runs noticeably cooler, smoother shifting, and handles way better. Love my '15 Limited!

I cannot remove the lowers , 2 the lack of long distance reviews of the water cooled heads by riders . And 3 the lack of info on aftermarket performance upgrades for the liquid cooled motor. I would like an honest review of the limited from someone that has had the Limited for over a year with at least 10 K miles citing 1 any heat issues above 80 degrees,2 airflow through the lowers during the warmer months,3 any performance upgrades,4 any maintenance or repair problems. I commute and ride all year as long as there is no ice on the road and will likely put over 1500 miles a month on any new bike I buy. Thanks in advance for any responses.
Get the Limited. I've had mine since August 2013. No issues at all. The cooling system is simple and reliable. The lowers have vents that open and close so leaving them on in hot weather is a non-issue. The water cooled heads keep rider temp's down anyway and allow more power via the higher compression. All the other extras (heated grips, 6.5 infotainment, chrome wheels, luggage rack, etc) are a no brainer.

Fuel Moto's testing shows that the water cooler Limited responds VERY well to simple stage 1 upgrades and gets big performance boosts from simple mods.

IMHO, the only reason H-D keeps the air cooled Ultra in the lineup is for people who have an unreasonable bias against the water cooling.

Had my limited for just over a year. 10000 miles. Has been riden in up to 107 degree heat in southern utah. Prior bike was a 09 Sg with Stage 1, race tuner and dynoed, had no lowers or cats in the headers. I had never put lowers on any of my bikes cause I didn't want the heat. Prior to the 09 was an 07 Sg with stage 2 103 and also dynoed.

The 14 wethead runs cooler with its stock tune and cat in the headpipe, with the lowers, then the prior two that had been tuned and didn't have lowers.

A prior girlfreind who had also ridden with me on the 09 commented how much cooler the ride was on the 14 limited.

No cooling system issues. (Had the recal done, but never had an issue)

It's by far the best Harley I've had.

I had the same concern about not being able to remove the lowers. IMHO, with the liquid cooling, it's a non issue.

Performance is great. Stronger than my 07 stage 2 103.

Another plus on the wethead is it doesn't have to regard the timing when it gets hot. It won't be ******* and pinging when the outside temps are high. Can't speak as to its power vs the air cooled high output, as I haven't ridden one.

I haven't done anything other than slip ons. No stage 1 or tuning.
