Default Brake pedal width

2015 Road Glide. I'm fine with the brake pedal location. For me, the pedal is too wide & takes up too much space. Cutting the pedal where it's notched beneath the pad looks like it would be perfect but how to cut the pad without having it look like its been hacked? Ideas?

You need to measure, but someone here at one point cut down the pedal, and used the pad for a Dyna. Looked pretty sharp.

I agree. The brake pedal is huge and awkward. I think I might end up buying some small shifter pegs and replacing it with that.

Cut mine shorter (3" from arm left) and cut pad to fit. This pic shows the pad back on but still had the dogs on the inside that I later cut out.

My pedal has an indent right where you would need to cut it to fit a Dyna pedal. I plan to do that in the near future for sure so I can use all of my floorboard to stretch out my 34" legs

Thanks for the great ideas. I'm gonna poke around the dealer & checkout some different pads. Cutting the pedal certainly seems like the right way to go.

I've been planning on cutting mine down since the first day.but haven't found the right pad, Thanks for the pics I like the look of the stock rubber one cut down. I didn't think the streamliner pad on the SGS would look right cut down like that.
