REGGAEX, how much further forward are you have to reach for your new bars vs. your OEM bars?
they do not bring the bars back more than stock they are about same but the angle that you hold the bars have changed and up around a inch.I did not want to change mirrors so i did not want to go higher.I wish they came back toward me about a inch more that is what i was trying to do but I am happy as they are the angle did it for me.
I was lucky enough the dealer had some, 8, 10, 12 and 14s in the store
They tried to get me to go with 14s, but the pinched and the 8s were just a bit taller than stock.
Even or just below the shoulder line is very comfortable long haul
For me, this was 12", but sit on a few bikes try them out, expensive like exhaust and seats
I have 12.5 Wild 1 chubby apes on a 15' Limited. With the mirrors on the bars, you can see all around you in a natural seated position. If you are worried about your hands getting cold, get heated grips. What I have learned is, I will take comfort over style any day.
