I got VH FP3. Wish I would have gone Power Vision. VH has no maps for a new cam. So you are stuck with you have. Not a bad choice if you aren't going to cam your bike. But if you are, like I am, no can do. VH said they MIGHT have a map for a new cam by January.
So I gotta pony up for a new tuner...thought I would save some money. Ends up I am spending way more. Go with Power Vision...just in case
I've been reading up on the Power Vision Tuner and I'm really rethinking my decision to go with the FI2000. I really didn't get a warm and fuzzy feeling when talking with tech support yesterday concerning adding a stage 4 kit. He said it was good for under 100 hp. HD website says the stage 4 kit will put my bike at 103 hp, 110 ft-lbs of torque and it does change the throttle body. Really wish I would have done some more research and got some advice from the forums!! I have a appt to have my bike put on the dyno Saturday morning but think I might wait.......put my FI2000 on Craigslist, try to sell it and then order the Power Vision. Anybody want to buy a slightly used FI2000?? Just askin........

I canceled my appointment that I had to put her on the Dyno. I sold my FI2000 this weekend and I am going to order the Power Vision. I would like to say that I had no problems with the FI2000. It worked flawlessly for the short time that I ran it. The only reason I took it off was because it want work with the Stage 4 kit that I am going to have installed in the spring. I figured I would have a better chance of selling it while it was only a few weeks old. I'll let ya'll know what I think of the Power Vision once I get it and install it. Mike
To me, running like a raped ape is a good thing.
They sound like a great idea but yet you hardly hear of any one with this turner.
SafteyMan said he knows a guy that has problems with his and SafteyMan had a good reputation on this Forum.
I have to wonder why I cant find dyno sheets on them. Thanks for a good report on one, could you up-date us on your bike after you get 2 or 3000 miles on her.
Coming from tuning cars, I don't see how this works as well as a pro tune would. It could basically adjust fueling, timing, and a few other things but I have a hard time believing it would get the same gains as a pro tune would.
