It was dyno tuned both before and after the work. I was surprised twice - first that the HP was so low originally, and then pleasantly surprised that it was so high after the upgrade. I was told it would come in between 100 and 103 HP. But then again, it's a brand new kit and the dealer was pleasantly surprised by the results as well.
I can understand how surprised you were, those numbers are great. So have you had time to ride it? If so does I still pull hard down low?
That's an impressive stat line. 110/120. And I bet you paid a lost less money than I did to get close to the same numbers. I guess it pays to be patient. AND the numbers will go up as you re-break that in. Enjoy, I'm in hibernation too in MN
That's a great power increase. How is the cam sound? And how many hours of labor did the dealership charge for the work?
I'm not mechanical enough to comment on the cam sound. The bike sounds great to me, a lot deeper and louder than the stock pipes. The dealer charged just under 17 hours of work. That's for the pipes, covers, air cleaner, and engine work.
