Thanks for all the great posts. I've been looking for something to fill those holes with. I just placed my order for a set. Once I get them installed, I'll post pics.
I took the tour pak off and the actual turn signals up front flashed normally, but the indicators on the dash flashed normal for about a second then flashed quickly.

Run your 4 way flashers for about 3-5 min. That should reprogram the BCM to know your new configuration.
HD has a license plate mount kit that IMHO looks awful. I used the side mount kit from native custom baggers. Several posters on the forum have come up with other home brewed solutions that look good as well. Do some searching here.

What is the size of the native custom baggers side license plate mount?
Is it a standard motorcycle plate holder or is it bigger? I can't tell from the pixs. Our plates are 4" x 7".
I'm thinking of adding that cause I'm not fond of drilling holes in my fender and can't find any other solutions. Thanks
