Ok, I will be the first. Tim, can you explain that a little clearer please?
I think he's saying how to get the bike in accessory mode if you don't have it on the fork lock. With the bike off, hold the trigger button for 2 seconds and it will turn on accessory mode.

Can you please explain what is this function and what it does. I had the bike off and push the trigger nothing new happens

Does your fork lock have "acc" mode? How long did you push the trigger for? On my ride, the fork lock is just locked and unlock, different than my other bikes I used to have. I don't know if this is CVO only, keyless operation only or what. But, if you don't have accessory mode on the fork lock, then you use the trigger button to enable accessory mode. I know on my wife's RK, you turn CW for run and CCW for accessory. The trigger switch has no effect on her bike as she has a standard accessory mode.
The trigger needs to be pushed and held for just over 2 seconds. It puts the bike in to accessory mode. Marker lights, radio and accessory powered devices will all power on, just like accessory mode by using the acc position on the fork lock.
It's covered in the owner's manual.

Thank you for clarifying - I have 2014 Limited - so this does not apply to my bike

I have a 2014 Limited also. Some of them have the Accessory mode on the Fork Lock Switch. Mine did not. I wanted to play the radio without the head lights on but could not for a year because I thought it did not have that option. I was complaining about that and a feller walked over to my bike and held down the square milage trip button on top of the left bar for a few seconds... and to my suprise the accessary power fired up...

Sounds like you got the wrong ignition switch on your bike. Unless it was a CVO, I've yet to see a 14-15 Limited that didn't have an accessory position.
