Electrical.. issue? Need help...
Electrical.. issue? Need help...
I was under the fairing, in the process of doing something with my USB, and saw this little piggy. It is a P&A plug, so I got my tester out, and was going to see how it was powered.
I inadvertently touched both pins with one lead from my tester, and shorted it out.
I'm old, I thought, OK, so I popped a fuse.
All the fuses are good, but no power at that plug, the cigar plug, and my passing lamps are out.
Suggestions before I take it in for the embarrassment?
And before I get told to

i think i would disconnect the battery for a few and reconnect ! might reset BCM CANBUS might not /but you can do this at home and its free
at any rate good luck hope you get it straightened out before it drives you to pull out your hair

Unhooked the battery, and double checked the fuses.
Last night every fuse tested good, today found a bad one, labeled P&A.
Reckon I should have double checked myself before I posted...
Back to normal, all is right with the world.
