Now that the OP question has been answered..... What do I need to install one in my 2012 SG? The LED harness looks like the standard "old style" harness?
Do I need a different mounting ring?

Its a standard 7" light, stock trim ring should fit, mine did.

I have the daymaker now, but after seeing the difference between the two I may want to get the JW. My question is will the wiring harness for my current daymaker match up with the evo 2?

No difference in the wiring harness. Selling the original Daymaker you should even be able to put some money back in your wallet as well. I paid $220 for mine on eBay.

$220 for the new EVO 2? You got a smoking deal.
I paid $310 and at the time that was the best i could find 2 weeks ago.
