I have a 2014 Ultra Limited. It is kept in the garage. Has 1900 miles on it. Lately, the black anodized part of the lower case has started developing white spots all over it. They kind of wipe off, but they are still there. It looks almost like corrosion, but I can't tell.
Has anyone else experienced this and is there any way to remove the spots or prevent them from coming back?
I found the top of my lower on the right side doing something that sounds the same. Found the brake master cylinder was leaking down onto it. Just a small amount but enough to make me notice it was something wrong with it.

Are you storing any chemicals in the garage (such as-pool chemicals, water softner pellets, etc.)? I have seen the damage those items can do to the aluminum and chrome under the right humidity and temperature.
No chemicals stored with it. It's in there alone, with nothing else really.
I'll try the S-100. Thanks for the tip.
I have noticed that on humid days here in Florida, the heads start to condense. I'm assuming that's due to the temp difference between the coolant and the outside air, but that really doesn't explain what's going on down on the lower.
I'm thinking its salt in the air/humidity/condensation. Ive noticed it on my front cylinder as well as on my Softail. There have been times where I've opened the garage door and due to temperature changes and humidity, the chrome starts dripping with condensation. I have yet to "taste" it though.... if it tastes salty its probably salt.
