Hey guys,
Just wanted to share my excitement. Bought 14' street glide a year ago and finally starting to do some upgrades.
Totally lucked out too on these bars. Was unsure on doing 12" or 14" but knew I wanted Yaffee's, a little nervous about being too short or too tall and was anxious and didn't want to wait 6 weeks for delivery. Went into local shop and guy said 12" bars run a little high, would be exactly what I wanted AND he had a set in stock as a previous buyer backed out.
Got the bike back and absolutely perfect!!!
At first, I was honestly a little nervous because my hands have always been at stock height and was weird with arms being even at the shoulder. But a few miles in and getting used to it and man, can't imagine being any other way.
Looks great.
Everybody I talk to just loves the higher bars, weather there 12"-14"-20". They are just more comfortable than stock. I was worried it might look to gangster but I find it easier to control the bike with them up higher.
