I had the same issue when I installed the front and rear lights. But what I did was to remove the main fuse for about 5 minutes. Then, I placed the main fuse back in, turned on the bike and started the hazards and turned off the bike. About 6 minutes later, went back out, turned on the bike and turned off the flashers. Since then, I have had no issues. I think it's also documented in the Custom Dynamics info.
