I have V&H Power Duals on my bike now. Takes a bit to get used to the looks of the power chamber, but the benefits have been worth it. I hear FM makes a set that will use the OEM heat shields. If they're anything like the V&H, the look of the stock pipes would be well worth it. V&H also makes a head pipe that doesn't have the power chamber in it, and they look great.
Fullsac --- at least call and talk to then before you make that decision -- I have their head pipes on two bikes and am a very satisfied customer --- next bike with out a doubt will have them on it also.
I had the S&S Power Duals and the old style bracket caused me to have the Transmission Cases replaced, S&S paid for everything. They have a newer kit available now that mounts like the stock pipe.
My Dealer referred me to a local person that takes the stock pipe and removes the CAT Chamber totally and converts it to a dual chamber with a crossover. I could tell a big difference in the performance when I picked up the bike.
I am using the FP3 in auto tune mode with the recommend map from V&H and the performance is awesome. I am very happy with the modified stock pipe over the Power Duals.
