I too have a 2014 Limited. Compared to my 2009 Ultra, the lights suck. So what's the fix? Are there optional lights that will correct the dark spots when driving curvy roads?
Passing lights made a big difference for me. Out in the boon docks, no other lights other than your bike. the passing lights filled the area out about 30 to 40 feet left and right, out to and pass the ditch lines on the roads, vital for making turns.
Bottom line they must be adjusted and when they are they are a big help.
Also on the back-roads with all lights on i am still only traveling at 35 to 40 mph.
OK, update, I had my 1000 mile service done today and I told them about my lights. The tech assured me he would fix the problem. Tonight took a ride and I can see much better. I now like the lights on my new 15 Ultra Limited.
What did they do that you did'nt? just curious as I'm off to Austria in Sept and I'm staying in the back of beyond and It's REALLY REALLY dark and the road there is very twisty!!
Just aim the headlight slightly higher then Moco recommendations. I ride at night once or twice a month to avoid AZ heat, to me lights are adequate in all road conditions not sure about hair pin turns or switch backs where riding isn't any easier in even day light.

Good to know. I'm dropping my Ultra off tomorrow for the 1000 mile service. I'll tell them about my headlight, because right now, I hate it.
The Rushmore headlights just plain suck. These things are a hazard and I wouldn't be suprised if we see a lawsuit brought up against MOCO in the future when someone wrecks riding at night. I had my driving lights flashed and readjusted the hight adjustment. I loved to ride at night on my Wings, now I only ride at night if I have to. I have actually thought about going back to a Wing because of this, but I like everything else too much to do that.
OP, do yourself a big favor after you get that headlight adjusted up. Have the dealer flash your bike to have the spot lights stay on with your high beam. Any dealer worth its salt will do this at no charge.
I had them do that with mine before delivery and when I got it home I ran the vertical adjustment screw all the way in. Tried it out one dark night soon afterward and was still pretty disappointed with the performance. Then I tried turning off the aux lights with the panel switch and the problem was solved!
Those aux lights make a super-bright spot right in front of the bike (WTF good THAT supposedly does, I can't figure out!) that overpowers the light that the headlight puts way down the road.
Couldn't be happier now that I found that trick. Best motorcycle headlight I've ever had - now.

Possibly. And if there are, then I'm sure that the ever-helpful MOCO will be just tickled pink to sell you one, or even a whole bunch of 'em (at a premium price, of course!).
SafetyMan the manual is saying not to remove the trim ring to make adjustments.
"Do not remove trim ring for headlamp adjustment."
Set headlamp beam:
Quartz halogen: Set headlamp to high beam.
LED, fork-mounted fairing: Set headlamp to low beam.
LED, frame-mounted fairing: Set headlamp to high beam.
I haven't had time to do it yet but I did look at the adjustment trim ring holes and they are covered up by the gasket. Wonder why they would say that?
Because the MOCO is as FOS on this subject as they are on everything else! I had to take the trim ring and gasket off to adjust mine, just like everybody else.

Funny... I was able to adjust mine without removing the trim ring and gasket. Right tool for the job?
