Remove bags, cover crash bars,, may be put some protection on the end of the fairings to prevent paint damage, less then half tank of gas, good protective gears and don't be afraid of dropping your bike. Give your 110% whatever trainer throws at you be little dare devil and you will say to your self damn I did it. But still require lots of practice on weekly basis find some empty parking lot and make some turns going against the traffic flow arrows of the parking lot.

I took the course 2 years ago and really enjoyed it. The instructors were top notch. It's well worth the time and money. You will come away with skills that you didn't know you needed.

If there's just one thing I can offer from the class.... look where you WANT to go! not where you're going. Don't be afraid to turn your head and look towards the next turn. Stay relaxed and don't hunch your shoulders (tension/nervousness) when turning.

Like the others have said, once you complete the course you have to continue practicing. Use it or lose it!

I tried to get my 3 riding buds to take the course with me. They didn't, and now constantly ask me how I make some of the maneuvers that I do. All thanks to the RLAP course.

(BTW, I didn't drop my bike during the class).

You will LOVE the course. I took it after my first year of riding and it improved my skills and confidence 100%. As others have said, you must then practice, practice, practice those maneuers until they become natural. I can make tight U-turns on a one lane dirt road.....and then I look back and see most of the guys in our group struggling and making 3-point turns (I just smile to myself).

Agree with the others great course, well worth the time. As a old motor officer told me, trust your equipment, and trust your instructors.
