Everyone I know is having major issues with the nav. Telling them wrong directions
Funny you should say that, I'm on my second Rushmore and do the updates as and when they come out so I have been using the infotainment 18 months or so, so I'm not a novice with this thing, and as of now i'm on 1.19.0 but yesterday I put the dealer in the satnav and off I went, I was trying to get to the M1 motorway to go north and the bloody thing was trying to turn me round at a roundabout 300 yds from the motorway (freeway to you guys) and send me on a 14 miles (35 min) detour to get on it at a different junction (I could see the motorway FFS)
My name is Ady and to be honest i'm finding this 1.19.0 a POS at the moment!! lol

What Routing method do you have it set to? (Fastest, Scenic, Twisty)
Mine's set to Scenic and sometimes it'll want me to make a U-turn to go back the same road that I've just come down.
I'm on 1.19.
One issue I've seen is that sometime the radio wants to switch to the WB for no apparent reason. No there was no weather alert issued either that make it switch, beautiful, sunny day, just switched out of the blue.

Valid point about routing method. Many issues posted about dealership POI info being incorrect, so I would also check to verify it has the correct address for that dealership.
Sometimes you'll get the switch to WB in clear weather because they are testing the alert system w/o posting up any notice bulletin. Turn the weather alert off & it should quit happening (maybe?).

As Hammz has said, its a very valid point, I had it set on shortest and I knew the way I was going was the Fastest........However should I have gone back on myself and followed the route I still would have covered more miles than the fastest route, despite being set on the shortest??? You would think it would have recalculated at the aforementioned roundabout and carried on the way I was going.
BTW I ride with my cousin, he's also on a Rushmore and going through Nottingham despite same settings and destinations it sometimes sent us in different directions'
Also we don't have Sirius, XM or WB over here so we don't suffer from that!
1.17.5, except for the waypoints limitation, was the best one I have had and was the one my bike came with. At least with that rev I could zoom way in on the weather. Now at the most recent and I can zoom in again, but not near as much as 1.17.5, and I really want to be able to zoom in enough to see the road.
I had one major issue with an update. It was the first one after purchase, (can't remember exactly). The dealer did it and all my maps disappeared just the bike icon in a field of green. Went back to previous version and waited until the next update came out. All good since then.
I figure it's just a computer and if I keep up on the updates it will function better. Fingers crossed, but I've been pretty lucky with it so far.

you missed computer 101, never update windows unless you have a valid reason.
I upgraded to 19.1 when it came out and I have had no issues. As far as the nav goes, it is no worse then my Zumo was for trying to send you on some pretty messed up routes at times. I am happy with my Rushmore in everyway.
I'm not complaining, I take it for what it is.
If they fix things, fine, if they don't, no big deal for me.
I always have my phone and Google Maps available as a backup...
Really, since MOCO subbed out the nav system (they have no business being in that line of work anyway), they should be all over them to fix the issues or drop them if they don't.
It's MOCO's reputation that's being tarnished, not the company that they've subbed the work out to.
