RoadsterGlide, thanks for posting that fairing video, looks like a piece of cake to take off. I found the Rushmore Batwings fairings are also much easier to remove especially since they eliminated those evil two bottom screws that were a real PITA. They would fall into the top of the triple tree and be gone forever.
I have had mine off to install the SiriusXM module. It is really easy. Make sure after you remove the windshield and top vent you reinstall two windshield screws before you remove the rest of the screws. This will hold the outer fairing in place when you remove the bottom screws. Then you just remove the windshield screws and pull it right off.
It is definitely possible by yourself, but a second set of hands makes it a lot easier to reattach the outer fairing.
