NAV system success
Think of it as the first level when you double click on the Drive.
Just got back to the hotel from day 2 of riding the Black Hills.
Rapid City, Needles Highway, Iron Mountain Road, Custer State Park, Mt Rushmore, etc.
Not a single issue with the NAV System
Route 1: Hotel to Mt. Rushmore, taking some scenic ways to get there (Needles Hiwy, Iron Mountain Rd)
Route 2: Mt. Rushmore to Custer (again not direct route, but custom scenic way I built)
Route 3: Custer back to Hotel (same as above, not direct route, but several scenic roads coming back).
Nav system hit every single road and turn I put in perfect.

It should, if that's what you imply, not be necessary to change language when you ride abroad.
And yes. I had a fantastic trip with great people, beautiful food, nice hotels and the most mesmerising trips through amazing sceneries you can imagine.
I found the Boom less intuitively than the Roadtech (zumo)on the ultra but I suppose that you will get used to it.
Safe and enjoyable trip!!!!!!
Just back from the "European HD forum M&G '15" trip and I'm sure that I caused most of the problems I encountered myself.
But I disagree with DaveVn007 when it comes to pronunciations. When riding through Germany the street and town names are spoken in an alien language and names are unrecognizable. For a system that is sold abroad it's a disgraceful shortcoming.

Maybe you should set it to the British girl voice. I have mine that way & love it, makes me laugh.
I've tried that. She sounds too much like my ex mother in law. Makes me go left when she says right and turn when told "straight for six miles"
Scaredofraim - no, I was not implying that one has to change the language when you ride abroad - however, I have found that the English pronunciation of a city is a bit different from the German pronunciation.
My wife is from Weniveiller Germany (not far from K-Town). If our GPS is voiced in German, the US locations sound different. That is why I was suggesting the German locations sound different in English
