Air cleaner question
Question regarding the heavy breather elite...is it just for looks or does it do something different? I like the HB elite and the Ness big sucker with factory cover for my SGS but if the only difference is $300 I will go with the big sucker.

I have had 2 big suckers on my bikes and they are phenomenal. When you think about it what exactly does an a/c do? Opens up the bike's ability to breath and filter the incoming air. Both are considered high flow a/c's. I'd go with the Arlen Ness, less expensive and it is stealthy because you retain the original oem cover.

question
How much air flow do the leg lower fairings block from getting into the OEM filter cover. It looks like it sets right behind the lowerer thus having the lowerer blocking the air flow, especially when the lowerer vents are closed.
