How are you tall guys feeling on the Road Glide ? I'm 6'3" with a 35" inseam. Sitting on the RG special, I absolutely need new bars, but my leg room felt minimal too. Is there a forward relocation kit for the boards ?
There's a set of "tall boy" bars available that are two inches taller. They're the same bars on the RGU so if you sit on that bike you can see how they feel. I'm told no new wires or cables are needed to install them.
Kuryakyn has a one inch out and forward floorboard kit. I put the 3/4" out kit on mine.

Dude I'm 6'2" and I'm telling you, the best thing I've done so far is my 13" Road6customs bars. No new wires or cables, just swap them out. It's amazing the difference it makes.
The bars can be rolled forward with little effort, I'm 6'2" with a 34" inseam, have my bars where I want them not, very comfortable.
And for the Street Glide riders, they're a dime a dozen, the shark nose is no comparison to the batwing, the Road Glide is a much better ride!

Did you grind your switch housings so you can move them too? I rolled mine up, but the levers were too forward,, and I couldn't get my mirrors adjusted correctly. Ended up just putting them back to stock. They did feel much better rolled up.
Lovin mine
I do have an odd clunky feel rolling into corners sometimes. Not all the time but it's coming From the front end. Anyone else notice this or is there something not right? Everything seems tight and only notice it when I dip it into a corner at slow to med speed. Kinda like there's slip in the wheel but can't produce it in the garage on a lift. Kinda freaks me out.....
Edit. Had the bike on the lift again tugging on forks, wheels etc. solid as a rock. Was going to push around on the fairing and rested my hand on the seat. Pretty sure my seat is making the noise I hear when shifting my weight into corners. Feel a lot better now. Swore it was coming from front end but this is definitely the noise. Trying to figure out what to put on the metal tongue that goes into the metal seat receiver that has a bit of slop in it from side to side.
