The feel of the grab point is good on mine. Needs more squeeze pressure than cables though.

I would think with the newer 103's with more torque they required a stiffer clutch spring. Bet it would be a lot harder pull on these bikes if a cable was used instead of hydraulic. 'Less Harley just used hydraulics to **** people off with recalls, etc.

The 110 motor bikes have the SE Hydraulic Assist kit in them. My girlfriends SlimS is a lot easier to pull than my Street Glide. You can order the kit from the dealer.

Have never had a hydraulic clutch till this bike, always had cables before. I dont really notice the clutch lever being any harder to pull in, seems about the same to me. Had to get used to the engagement point not being where I normally set it in the past. No big deal once I got used to it.

I went with a Rekluse clutch on my 2014 limited and WOW it is alot better. 50% softer feel and this bad boy really grabs when you need power.

Just traded up from an 06, I can tell you the harder clutch pull was the first thing I noticed. Seems as though some don't see a difference, wonder if it's just a big jump from the 88's

Cables are a tad lighter, but ignore a cable 5-10 years and that won't be the case. It will gum up and get stiff. The hydraulic systems will always stay they way they are. The Moco just was eliminating future issues for those riders who can't or won't do ANY maintenance on their own bikes. Which seems to be the new breed of riders.
