Clutch trigger /neutral safety switch
Please instruct me on where the wire are, I can splice them together and be done with it.
I am soooo frustrated! I am regretting buying another Harley. I was seriously considering an Indian this time around. I should have gone that way, but it's too late now.

Post names of Dealers that will not fix your issue . We should know who to avoid. I know for a fact if it were the dealer I go to it would have been fixed first time. You have rights under your warranty, demand they be enforced. The only way we can run crappie dealers off is expose them.
If the micro switch is sitting in the housing like it should with the proper shim holding it like it should and the switch housing is pushed up against the perch like it should then I guess the story of bad switches is true.
It's one or the other. It's position or a run of crap switches. Very frustrating to have that happen....Jeeze. If there is a dealer willing to take that on as they should in your area your in luck.
If not, I'd also go with the WD 40 thing and perhaps a year or two from now I bet Harley makes a new switch or actually has China make a new one. Good luck with that. Let us know if you land on a more competent dealer.
Your objective is to clean the contact at the board.
Of course if they had done the proper thing and SILICONE the backside of that switch board eliminating the openings, then this would never be an issue. That is what most higher end electronics components have done to them to minimize corrosion / crud buildup on live side of the board.
I rode to Triple S HD, in Morgantown, WV, my selling dealer (little ove 2 hrs 1 way), yesterday morning and got there shortly after they opened. They replaced it no questions asked. they even replace my windshield screws, as when I polished my used freedom shield with a DA polisher, I buffed the paint off the screws. -I'm am glad this one is behind me.
I can't really give the other 2 dealers to much grief, as they were following the MOCO's rules on they had to see the problem in order to fix it. But my local dealer Zepka HD is the one that at first, they didn't even want to talk to me since it didn't buy my bike there. -I will tell you, I will not step foot in there again, not even for a $1.00 bolt.
Since my bad experience with them, and talking about this with many locals, I have found that I'm not the only one with these kinds of issues. I have friends of many economic ranges, and it seems this dealer caters to the ones who appear to be men of means, and treat them like kings. And they treat the average guy like a piece of dirt.
I will now source any non onllne business to Highland HD which is only a 20 min ride away. They tried to help me get this fixed, but couldn't due to the MOCO. They did however, try, and we're very nice to deal with, so they have earned my local business.

I have a pretty good local dealership that I go to for service and warranty work, and they've never batted an eye at looking at and fixing my problems. They have even flashed my radio a couple different times free of charge. I would not however consider buying a bike from them. Not a fan of their sales department and sales tactics.
Sometimes you have to drive to find a good service department or sales department that will take care of you. But they are out there.
