That flip up one is popular in Goldwing circles. Then people wake up and get the Madstad.

Thumbs up

Never tried it. Be kinda cool if there was one that went up and down at the push of a button like the Beamer's have.

Madstad made one for the older Batwings, not sure about the new ones. I have one on my Roadie, and it's simply the best windshield out there.

I just don't understand this mindset? So if your cruising around town and people see you with a 9" windshield they are going to laugh at you?
Guess I'm the one to use the best all around shield for all occasions because you never know where the journey will take you sometimes.
To the O.P., buy a Goldwing, stock equipment on that tank.

Adjustable windshields are the shiznit. Once you've had one, you never want to be without. The electric ones I had on the Beemers were right up there with cold beer and sliced bread. It's amazing how often I used them. The Madstad is similar. Too hot? push it down and back. Got a passenger? Up and forward.

Once you have one, you won't want to go back to a fixed shield. No matter how quickly you can change one in your garage, you can't do that when you're out on a ride or a trip.

Man that has to be the worst looking shield on the market today.
I have the 14" Klock Werks Sports Flair and it is fantastic.

Don't want a Goldwing (unless you're buying), but thanks for the recommendation.

I also own a Honda ST1300 with an electrically-adjustable windshield. As someone already mentioned, it is indeed the shiznit. I can go from full-on wind in the face to absolute calm in about 2.5 seconds at the press of a button.
