Default Security for 15 Road King

I want to add a security system on my Road King, anybody have any experience with the Smart Siren 2 that HD sells? Are there any better systems? No garage so my Road King sits outside but at least me and my Mossberg have a good view of it. Thanks in advance for the advice..

I have the Smart Siren 2 and Pager; I like them both. Their are cheaper ways of setting up an alarm, but the HD version is very nice; plug and play. Would do it again in a heartbeat .

The website says you must already have a Harley Davidson factory security system for these to work.

That is true; I was assuming the OP has that. Thanx for bringing that up I should have mentioned it.

All it has is the fob setup. Is this what Harley is referring too as far as "existing security"?

Do the lights blink when you turn it off, and a flashing red light on the speedo?

FOB = security
I too bought the HD siren, mainly for the remote pager. Can't have the pager without the siren. I am happy with my choice and would do it again. Took longer to read the instructions than it took to install. If you get the pager, I highly recommend the rechargeable one. The battery one kills the pager battery pretty quickly, and the rechargeable one is more compact.

I installed the $5 radio shack siren. Works great, loud as hell.
