I had a 14 limited which was a nice ride. No complaints at all. Now have a 16 glide and can't wait to ride it. I am a huge 103 fan and not so much a 110. I am very content with the bike I own and with all the changes everyone dreams about Harley doing to a new year model comes with a huge price increase. Is that really what you want? Because you know all those goodies will not be free.
On a side note. I heard from a guy I know who heard it from his friends dad who got his info from there great uncle that the 110 engine will be a thing of the past and will be discontinued and you can't take that to the bank.
I think I know that guy. The great uncle has a step-son who works at the factory, right? Also heard that they'll be bringing back the 80" EVO for all Big Twins and the Electra Glide Classic will be back replacing the Street Glide. Yeah, right! With the way Harley sales are lately, I think they'll either make major engine changes to spruce up sales, or don't do much at all to hold down prices. Whatever they do, that decision has already been made. Probably already made on the 2018s too.
I can see LED's becoming standard , I also believe they will watch Indian closely ,depending on there sales and changes may push Harley to respond. I believe the only reason they made the 2 110 Softail models this year is because of Indians 111.
Not sure how sales are with the 2 new bikes , Street 500 / 750 as this was new territory for Harley, aimed at entry level / new / young budget minded riders , brought on by Yamaha's Sportster styled Bolt >
I like the bass boat gold, and would have considered one if it didn't jump the price so much. I was kinda forced into a left over in vivid black so I could keep with in my budget. Don't get me wrong, I lOVE my bike, but that bass boat yellow speaks to me, LOL
